Cottbus Crayfish:
Hello Joseph, the Cottbus Crayfish are looking forward to welcoming you to our family for the 2020 season. Please introduce yourself briefly to our fans, football friends and readers.

Joseph:
My name is Joseph Cox and I usually go by the name „Joey.“ I am a 22 year old Wide Receiver from Southern California, USA. I recently finished my collegiate football career at Gannon University, a NCAA Division 2 university in Erie, Pennsylvania. I have been playing football since I was 9 years old and continue to love the game more and more throughout my many experiences. I am extremely excited for this opportunity to play for the Crayfish and I am going to do whatever I can to be an exceptional teammate and help the team win.

Cottbus Crayfish:
Have you had any impressions of American football in Germany or been able to collect information about them?

Joseph:
From what I understand, American Football is a fast growing game in Germany and will continue to gain popularity. I know that the knowledge I bring when it comes to certain details of American Football will benefit those around me who have a desire to learn more about the game and I am excited to have the opportunity to share that knowledge.

Cottbus Crayfish:
Was it your plan to play American football in Germany and why did you choose the Cottbus Crayfish?

Joseph:
I do not necessarily have a plan for my American football career in Germany, but I do plan on being the best possible teammate that I am capable of being for my teammates. I was introduced to the Cottbus Crayfish by Richard Makowski, who played for the Crayfish before playing at Gannon where I got a chance to play two seasons with him. After learning more about Cottbus and getting to know the Headcoach, it was clear that the Crayfish were a perfect fit for me. I can’t wait for the season!
