Coaches Note: Written by Michael Zweifel
I have known Cody for the past 4-years and know he’d be a great fit for any team in Europe. His versatility is all aspects of the game, would be a huge asset to teams. In college, he was the quintessential jack knife – he played anywhere on the defense, at any given time. Cody is a very smart player who also possess the strong physical qualities that have allowed him to have a successful college career.
During his time in college, Cody played with a DB that is currently in the NFL and against a WR (Tyler Rutenbeck) who is a current player for Schwabish Hall Unicorns. Having myself played for the Vienna Vikings, I know Cody would be a great import for any team, both as a player and as an individual. He’d be a wonderful teammate and work closely with younger players and others in the club to become better. More so, he’d add valuable insight into game planning and weekly preparation for opponents.I have no doubts that Cody would be a great fit and huge asset to any team. Having played in Europe, I know first hand, Cody would be a major upgrade from many of the imports I played against – not only as a player but as a person.
